WOW! Another Success Story! Check out this fantastic news just received from a past LQAF Scholarship recipient Marnie L. Navarro! "Hi LQAF! I just wanted to pop in and say hello...I am a past winner of the LQAF Scholarship from my COD days. Now I own an art gallery in Palm Springs called LIFEWORK focusing on cutting-edge emerging artists, have college degrees in Art and Psychology, and continue to make my own work. Scholarship Retrospective:James Galindo
James Galindo Laguna College of Art and Design (2006), BFA, Drawing and Painting; Laguna College of Art and Design (2009) MFA, Painting Since 2009 James has taught drawing and painting at Laguna College of Art & Design, Los Angeles Academy of Figurative Art, Brentwood Art Center, FT Art Academy, and Saddleback Community College. Galindo is hoping to land full-time status as an art instructor at a community college in the Los Angeles area. This Fall (2011) he will be juggling teaching positions at Laguna College of Art & Design, Rio Hondo Community College, probably Brentwood Art Center, and hopefully Saddleback Community College again. He is also involved in some web and graphic design projects. Galindo is currently represented by Dawson Cole
