La Quinta Arts Foundation (“LQAF”) is committed to protecting your privacy when you: (a) visit www.lqaf.com, www.la-quinta-arts-found.org or any other LQAF website (collectively, the “LQAF Sites”); (b) participate in our online contests and other activities; (c) shop at the LQAF Online Store; or (d) use the LQAF Sites to purchase a LQAF membership or make a donation.
LQAF does not collect personal information about an individual, such as names and mailing or e-mail addresses, unless the individual knowingly provides it. In choosing to provide this information, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of the Privacy Policy of the LQAF Sites as set forth below.

LQAF POLICY ON INFORMATION COLLECTION
Online Purchases
When you order a product from LQAF, we need to know your name, billing and shipping addresses, telephone number, e-mail address, and credit card information to process your order. Your credit card information will be used only as needed to process your transaction. So that we can track your order, we will retain your order information for our records, but your credit card information is not retained.
Online Memberships
When you purchase a LQAF membership online, we will ask you to provide us with the information we need to process your membership and to acknowledge your contribution. This information includes your name, billing and shipping addresses, telephone number, e-mail address, and credit card information. Your credit card information will be used only as needed to process your transaction.
Online Donations
When you support LQAF by making a donation online, we will ask you to provide us with the information we need to process and acknowledge your contribution. This information includes your name, billing and mailing addresses, telephone number, e-mail address, and credit card information. Your credit card information will be used only as needed to process your transaction.
Online Surveys
From time to time, LQAF may invite you to participate in surveys posted on the LQAF Sites. You may decide whether or not you wish to complete such surveys, which may ask about your background, occupation, or similar questions. We use this information to help us understand our audience, which in turn allows us to better meet your needs and interests. No personal information from these surveys is ever disclosed to third parties, although LQAF may disclose survey results to third parties in anonymous, aggregate form.
Children Under Thirteen Years of Age
The LQAF Sites are not specifically dedicated to children and LQAF does not solicit personal information from children. Children thirteen (13) years of age or under are required to obtain permission from a parent or guardian before submitting any personal information to the LQAF Sites.
The LQAF E-Newsletter
As a service, LQAF offers visitors to the LQAF Sites the opportunity to subscribe to our E-newsletter which you can do here. If you choose to subscribe, you will receive the LQAF E-Newsletter. You may unsubscribe at any time by selecting the unsubscribe button located at the bottom left section of the E-Newsletter.
LQAF POLICY ON DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION
LQAF will not sell, trade, or rent the personal information you provide to us in purchasing a product or membership online, making an online donation, participating in an online contest, or by signing up to receive E-Newsletter. We may compile and provide aggregate statistics about our visitors, customers, sales, traffic patterns, and related site information to third parties, but these statistics will not include any personal identifying information.
LQAF may release account information when such release is: (a) reasonably necessary to comply with the law; (b) enforce the terms of any of our user agreements; (c) or protect the rights, property, and safety of LQAF, the users of the LQAF Sites, or others.
We may notify you by e-mail about events or activities at, or related to, LQAF that we believe may be of interest to you, or to alert you about sales or other promotional events at the LQAF Online Store. Security
LQAF’s secure server software uses third party provided industry-standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology. SSL encodes your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, as it travels over the Internet so that all transactions are secure.
