Maureen Fox - Budding Romance for Late BloomersMaureen Candace Fox, one of our valued LQAF Volunteers, has published her first book entitled Budding Romance for Late Bloomers: Women’s first marriages over 40, 50, 60. The book is touted as, “a shining light to all women who have loved, who have lost, and who have given up on ever finding love again.”

Maureen Fox will be present for a book signing event at Gracie’s Emporium in Old Town La Quinta on Saturday, November 10, 2012–during LQAF’s Art Under the Umbrellas show.

Maureen was an executive assistant to high profile executives, in the latter part of her career in Canada, turned aspiring writer for a small weekly newspaper in Tacoma, Washington. Later on, while employed with the City of Palm Springs, she contributed to its monthly newsletter as a feature writer of employees’ achievements.
