Delia Bradford is a Semi-Final winner in PleinAir Salon Competition

California Impressionist Delia Bradford’s oil painting entitled “California Wildflowers” was selected as the image for the 30th La Quinta Arts Festival Commemorative Poster.

Recently, she qualified in the PleinAir magazine‘s sixth annual Salon competition.   In the spirit of the French Salon created by the Academie des Beaux-Arts in Paris, this annual competition, with six bi-monthly contests leading to annual Salon Grand Prize winners, is designed to stimulate artistic growth through competition.

She writes, “I am honored to be in the June/July PleinAir Magazine as a semi-final winner for Best Overall Acrylic for the Salon competition.”

Anyone who views her Impressionist landscape and floral paintings realizes her passion and vitality for life and for nature. Although her paintings are vibrant and colorful, they exude a peacefulness and tranquility that calms the soul.
