Denise Robertson

Denise Robertson is a mixed media artist/jeweler from New Mexico who designed the popular “Got Art “pin that was refashioned to create the embroidery model used for a version of the 30th Anniversary La Quinta Arts Festival t-shirts.

Denise sees each day as an adventure in art, and is on a constant search for the “earth treasures“ used in her mixed media and jewelry pieces. Her artist statement reads: “Using found objects, mixed metals, stones, & the techniques of soldering, riveting, scrimshaw, enameling, piercework, forming, & coloring of metals, I create one of a kind jewelry pieces that ignite the mind and inspire the heart.”

I live in Birmingham, AL and just met, Linda Bachman, at our Magic City Art Connection Festival, with her husband, Rick. She was wearing a silver HEART necklace with figure drawings that represented her children. I asked if she would share with me the name of the artist that made this. She had such wonderful things to say about this person. I was just wondering you might be her.
